A Heated Diode Refrigerant Leak Detector is a specialized device used for detecting leaks of refrigerant gases in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems. Unlike infrared leak detectors, which rely on the absorption and emission of infrared radiation, heated diode detectors work on a different principle involving a heated sensing element, continuously monitors indoor or outdoor ambient air for refrigerants, oxygen and toxic and combustible gases.

Heated Diode Refrigerant Leak Detector efficiently detects the below listed refrigerants with high accuracy.

  • HFC’s (R134a, R410A, R407C, R417A, R404A, R507, R23, R508B, R152a, R32)
  • HCFC’s (R22, R123, R124, R141b, R142b, R402A, R402B, R408, R409)
  • CFC’s (R11, R12, R13, R500, R502, R503)
  • PFC’s (PFC-14, PFC-116, PCF-218)
  • HFO’s (R1234yf)
